I want to learn Acrobatics is Capoeira good for this?
Acrobatics are an important element of Capoeira but not the main element, however if you wish to eventually be a Capoeirista who is respected you must master all elements, music, fighting, knowledge of history and floreios. If any Capoeira teacher tells you that acrobacia / floreios are not important its probably because he cant do them himself. Many great Mestres created the advanced movements we know today as floreios (flourishes). However without a strong grounding in basics and good understanding of Malandragem (trickery) any movement is useless. Capoeira is an evolving martial art . A capoeirista will take from everywhere to improve himself. Whether its other martial arts, other styles of dancing or even ballet dance , a capoeirista will use whatever tools he needs to play his game.
